Tom's first encounter with Hattiers came in January 2022 when he sat down with our founder Philip for 67 Pall Mall TV to explore our trio of rums and delve deeper into the Hattiers story and values. Our shared passion for sustainable, quality liquid was palpable from the start.

Tom recently presented a delicious

‘Casa Surgey Strength’ twist on a Champagne Mojito with Eminence Blended Aged White Rum to Alan Titchmarsh, Deborah Meaden and Megan Cusack on ITV's Love Your Weekend.

This absolute knockout of a recipe and its method can be found below.

Tom's Hattiers Champagne Mojito Recipe

Ingredients

  • 14 Mint Leaves

  • 60ml Hattiers Eminence Blended Aged Rum

  • 15ml Fresh Lime Juice

  • 10ml Sugar Syrup

  • 30ml Sparkling Wine or Champagne

Method

1. Slap the mint leaves in the palm of your hand and add to the bottom of a highball glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add the sugar syrup and fresh lime juice, followed by the rum.

2. Take a bar spoon with a flat bottom and use the disc to churn the mixture. You're looking for a frosting on the outside of the glass so that you know the mix is super cold.

3. Cap with more ice so that the glass is full and the ice glistens on top.

4. Top with English sparkling wine or Champagne.

5. Take the mint sprig and clap it between your hands to release the oils so that every sip will be accompanied with the aroma from the mint, then place next to a paper or reusable straw in the glass.
