Sales Director
The Role
We're looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Sales Director who can hit the ground running and drive forward our lofty growth plans within our domestic market and beyond.
The Sales Director will own all aspects of sales, pricing, commercial structures and retailer JBPs. They will, ultimately, be responsible for all revenue in the business. This role will have important leadership aspects in guiding direct reports in the small sales team, as well as being involved in the commercial operations of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a background in beverage commercial sales and ideally experience in a more general business role within this sector. They must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have strong management skills with a definite ability to see the wider picture and develop and implement strategy. The role will play a critical role in creating commercial structures and strategies to maximise the business' ongoing growth.
The role will also be accountable for ownership of commercial data and processes around analysis of this data, leading to actionable conclusions to maximise revenue whilst protecting margins.
Responsibilities

Own Hattiers' sales strategy to maximise growth in revenue and distribution.

Manage the internal and external sales team as well as distributors to ensure that all commercial aspects are operating with consistency and maximising growth.

Be accountable for trade marketing budgets ensuring that the business is investing in areas which maximise long term growth.

Work with our Founder & CEO to create plans and targets to present to the board and investors.

Ensure that the sales team meets these targets.

Liaise with our distribution partner.

Develop sales pitch decks and commercial propositions to open new grocery accounts.

Develop a strategy and plan to drive growth for the brand in the On and Off Trades.

Manage and foster the relationship with our largest trade customers.

Provide strategic insight around joint business plans with On and Off Trade customers.

Be accountable for approving all commercials with new customers in line with the commercial strategy that has been created.

Own international pricing structures and strategies, including implementation of these.

Develop Hattiers' price promotion tactics.

Ensure that the business is obtaining and using commercial data where appropriate, and using this data to draw actionable conclusions.

Be prepared to travel for at least 60% of your week.

Work with the marketing team to develop in store messaging tactics and point of sale material

Experience in the drinks/sprits industry or similar fast-paced sectors is preferred.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
A full, clean UK driving license is essential due to our location and the travel required within this role.

Salary & Benifits
Start Date: Q3 2024.
Salary: £65k+ per annum [based on experience] plus commission.
Travel and subsistence expenses covered.
Nature of contract: Permanent and full-time.
Base: Mothecombe, Devon with regular visits to London and open to travel throughout the UK. Flexible, hybrid working.
Holidays: 30 days per annum including flexible bank holidays and birthday off. Additional days accrued after two, three, four and five-years' service and company downtime between Christmas and New Year.

Brand Manager
The Role
The role of Hattiers UK Brand Manager is an incredibly important role to help supercharge our brand and take it to the next level. We've grown Hattiers organically so far, but our aspiration and infrastructure mean it's now time to shout loud, telling people who we are and what we stand for, enabling the brand to grow and increase esales.
In this role you will shape and deliver the UK marketing strategy to help us realise our potential and meet commercial goals. In doing so you will manage the marketing budget, events team and partners including our network of agencies and create tailored campaigns and initiatives that will set Hattiers apart.
The ideal candidate will have creative flair, commercial acumen and a background in beverage marketing with experience in accelerating brand presence. They must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have strong management skills with a definite ability to see the wider picture to develop and implement strategy.

Responsibilities

Own the Hattiers marketing, PR and partnerships budgets and strategy, ensuring that the business is investing in areas which maximise long term growth. revenue and brand awareness.

Work with the sales and events teams to develop in store messaging tactics, POS and promotional materials and ensure that Hattiers is present at all relevant events.

Create engaging campaigns and activations and oversee the activity from social content through to consumer facing and trade events, PR and advertising campaigns.

Manage, develop and expand the marketing team in the UK.

Set goals, drive, and report on marketing performance.

Identify market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviours to capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Support the management of budgets and contracts.

Experience in some of the following: Shopify (or similar CMS system), Klaviyo, Amazon, Google Analytics, SEMrush.

Have worked in a business as they have scaled.
