We are extremely excited to announce our new partnership with iconic sailing brand Henri-Lloyd, whose reputation for producing pioneering clothing is more pertinent than ever with the release of their recycled clothing range and an industry first repair service. Fuelled by a passion for life at sea, Hattiers has existed as a benchmark of where we believe great rum should be, all while being uncompromising in our mission to use business as a force for good, which is why we have chosen to partner with Henri-Lloyd who share our values and love for the ocean.


Henri-Lloyd has proudly worked with some of the world’s best athletes, sailors, adventurers and pioneers including Sir Francis Chichester, Sir Robin Knox-Johnson, Dame Naomi James, Shirley Robertson, Chay Blythe and Sir Ben Ainslie (pictured below) to push boundaries and produce innovative extreme weather clothing, so you can imagine how proud we are to call Henri-Lloyd a brand partner.


The oceans and environment have always played a part in what Henri-Lloyd do and like us they are striving towards a sustainable future, making the right decisions to lessen their impact on the world. They believe in producing timeless, quality products in their own European Production Centre that last a lifetime but don’t cost the earth.

Product Highlight, the Hattiers x Henri-Lloyd Recycled MAV Jacket


Since the Henri-Lloyd brand relaunched in 2018, the design team has been focused on the lifecycle of products and researching ways to source and incorporate more sustainable materials.


The Mav Mid Layer series was developed in collaboration with Italian sportswear fabric specialist, Pontetorto, who are known industry-wide for their forward-thinking attitude and extensive use of recycled materials. Environmental sustainability is at the forefront of their business and a photovoltaic panel system installed at their plant will make them 95% self-sufficient energy-wise.


The Hattiers x Henri-Lloyd MAV Mid Jacket features a high performing yet incredibly comfortable stretchy polyester fleece jersey. It is high wicking, quick drying and offers great thermal insulation. It's a piece that you will be in danger of never taking off (we're serious), you can use it anywhere, anytime for any activity. What makes this even more special is that it's made from 100% recycled polyester which means that on average per jacket 15 1.5 Litre PET bottles have a new use on this planet.
