We're IWSC Winners!
The Hattiers team are once again on cloud nine as we announce a trio of IWSC wins for 2022, adding to our accolades from previous years.
The IWSC has been tasting and reviewing the world’s finest wine and spirits for over 50 years. In that time, it has earned a reputation for innovation and engagement, as well as for unbiased, meticulous and authoritative judging. The judges assess each spirit methodically to ensure a fair and true result, tasting and discussing each entry alongside the rest of the panel. Panels consist of world leading experts in wine and spirits, such as leading sommeliers and distillers, influencers from every sector of the drinks trade, buyers, importers and distributors.
Over two weeks, over 4,000 spirits were assessed from over 90 countries, entered into 21 different categories. It was a bumper year for rum entries, up 23% on 2021, so we are thrilled to have received medals for each of our rums.

Resolute Blended Aged Navy Strength Rum / 91 Points:
Judge's Comment: 'Light fruity notes, citrus, green banana, petrol and floral aromas on the nose, sweetness on the palate with balancing oak and molasses'.
Egremont Premium Reserve Rum / 88 Points:
Judge's Comment: 'A subtle style, balanced and aromatic, with soft fruity notes and hints of cacao nib'.

Eminence Blended Aged White Rum / 86 Points:
