It's been six months since we launched nationally into 100+ Waitrose & Partners stores, online and via Waitrose Cellar, and we're still pleased as punch every time we see our rum on the shelves.
It is a real privilege to be working with a retailer such as Waitrose & Partners who share our core values of people, planet and purpose and we commend and congratulate them on their industry leading sustainability initiatives, in particular the action that they're taking on plastics within their shops and supply chain, along with their support for marine conservation which is a cause close to our hearts.
At Hattiers we often use our position within the spirits industry to be thought leaders on issues such as sustainability and lobby our supply chain for long term positive change, so it is wonderful to see Waitrose & Partners doing this on such a large scale which is undoubtably having a positive influence within the UK's supermarket retail sector. Their progress was recognised in 2021 when they topped the Greenpeace plastic footprint league of UK supermarkets for the second time in a row.
Beyond our shared values and commitment to sustainability we are proud to be punching above our weight to satisfy the increase in demand for premium, authentic rum and supply the nation through our partnership with Waitrose.

The three rums stocked in Waitrose & Partners are: ‘Eminence’ - a blended aged white rum (£37.50, 42% ABV) which was awarded Gold in 2021’s International Wine & Spirit Competition scoring an impressive 95 out of a possible 100; ‘Egremont’ - a Blended Aged Premium Reserve Rum (£40.00, 40% ABV); and ‘Resolute’ - a Blended Aged Navy Strength Rum (£52.00, 54.5% ABV).
